Chemistry Olympiad (March 6 and April 24)
The Local Chemistry Olympiad Competition will take place on the campus of the University of Evansville on Friday, March 6. This competition is available to all high school students. Students from this competition may be nominated by the section to compete in the National Chemistry Olympiad Exam, which will take place on Friday, April 24, also at the University of Evansville. Student Awards Banquet (April 7)
Our annual student awards banquet will take place on Tuesday, April 7th. Dinner will be at 5:30 PM, with awards and speaker following at 7:00 PM on the campus of Kentucky Wesleyan College. More details will be posted later.
Chemistry Lecture at UE (April 17)
Along with the UE Student Chemistry Club, the local section is happy to announce that Professor Karen L. Wooley (University of Texas A&M) will present a lecture on Friday, April 17 at 3:00 PM. The talk will take place in room 101 of Koch Center for Engineering and Science on the University of Evansville campus. Title of the talk will be announced later. Annual INKY Student Poster Presentations (September 18)
Our annual student poster session will take place on Friday, September 18, at the University of Evansville’s Koch Center for Engineering and Science. Presentations will begin at 3:00 PM and will be followed by a keynote speaker (who will be announced later).
