Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry at USI
The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department, in the Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education at the University of Southern Indiana, invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor of Chemistry position to begin August 2026. Primary teaching responsibilities will include organic chemistry and chemistry classes for non-majors like allied health and general education students. Applicants are expected to establish a vigorous research program that involves undergraduates. Modest start-up funds are available. A Ph.D. in organic chemistry or closely related chemistry discipline is required. Applicants with ABD status will be considered at the rank of Instructor if doctoral degree will be completed by the end of their first year of employment. Click here for more information.
General Chemistry Instructor at USI
The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department, in the Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education at the University of Southern Indiana, invites applications for a 9-month non-tenure renewable instructor position beginning Fall 2026. The instructor appointment will include the teaching of non-majors and majors lecture and laboratory courses including but not limited to chemistry for allied health students, chemistry for elementary education students, and general chemistry.
